Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a research fellow at the Hoover Institution and founder of the AHA Foundation. From 2003 to 2006, she served as a member of the Dutch Parliament. Ayaan Hirsi Ali was named one of TIME Magazine's "100 Most Influential People" of 2005, one of the Glamour Heroes of 2005 and Reader's Digest's European of the Year for 2005. She is the best-selling author of Infidel (2007) and Heretic: Why Islam Needs a Reformation Now (2015).

ABOUT THE FELLOW
Kiron Skinner is the W. Glenn Campbell Research Fellow at the Hoover Institution. She recently served as a Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary of State and Director of Policy Planning. Her areas of expertise are international relations, international security, US foreign policy, and political strategy. Skinner is an award-winning and best-selling author. Her coauthored books Reagan, In His Own Hand (2001) and Reagan, A Life in Letters (2003) were New York Times best sellers. Earlier in her career, Skinner served on the Defense Department’s Defense Policy Board, and was a foreign policy surrogate to the Bush-Cheney reelection campaign in 2004.

Robert Service, a noted Russian historian and political commentator, is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and a fellow of St Antony’s College, Oxford. His research interests concern Russian history and politics in all its aspects, from the late nineteenth century to the present day. Service was awarded the 2009 Duff Cooper Prize for his biography Trotsky (Harvard University Press, 2009).

ABOUT THE FELLOWS
Stephen Haber is the Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and the A.A. and Jeanne Welch Milligan Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford University. He is also a professor of political science, of history, and (by courtesy) of economics, as well as a senior fellow of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.He is among Stanford’s most distinguished teachers, having been awarded every teaching prize Stanford has to offer.
Alexander Galetovic is a research fellow at the Hoover Institution, and a senior fellow at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Santiago. Together with Eduardo Engel and Ronald Fischer, Galetovic invented the least-present-of-revenue auction, which is routinely used in many countries to procure transport infrastructure through concessions and private participation. He has been an advisor on public-private partnerships to the Chilean government and multilateral organizations such as the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank and the OECD. He is currently an advisor to the Chilean Ministry of Finance on COVID-19 policy and the implementation of massive testing to keep the economy open.

ABOUT THE FELLOWS
Jacquelyn Schneider is a Fellow at the Hoover Institution, a senior policy advisor to the Cyberspace Solarium Commission, and a non-resident fellow at the Naval War College’s Cyber and Innovation Policy Institute. She is an active member of the defense policy community with previous positions at the Center for a New American Security and the RAND Corporation. Before beginning her academic career, she spent six years as an Air Force officer in South Korea and Japan and is currently a reservist assigned to US Cyber Command. In 2018, she was included in CyberScoop’s Leet List of influential cyber experts.
Dr. Herb Lin is Hank J. Holland Fellow in Cyber Policy and Security at the Hoover Institution and senior research scholar for cyber policy and security at the Center for International Security and Cooperation, both at Stanford University. His research interests relate broadly to policy-related dimensions of cybersecurity and cyberspace, and he is particularly interested in the use of offensive operations in cyberspace as instruments of national policy and in the security dimensions of information warfare and influence operations on national security.

Steven Davis is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and William H. Abbott Distinguished Service Professor of International Business and Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, an economic adviser to the U.S. Congressional Budget Office, visiting scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, elected fellow of the Society of Labor Economics, and member of the CNE Growth Commission for Puerto Rico.
Lee Ohanian is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and a professor of economics and director of the Ettinger Family Program in Macroeconomic Research at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is an adviser to the Federal Reserve Banks of Minneapolis and St. Louis, has previously advised other Federal Reserve banks, foreign central banks, and the National Science Foundation, and has testified to national and state legislative committees.

Elizabeth Economy is the C. V. Starr senior fellow and director for Asia studies at the Council on Foreign Relations and a distinguished visiting fellow at the Hoover Institution. Economy is an acclaimed author and an expert on Chinese domestic and foreign policy. Her recently released book, The Third Revolution: Xi Jinping and the New Chinese State, analyzes the contradictory nature of reform under President Xi Jinping. Economy was named one of “The 10 Names That Matter on China Policy” by Politico Magazine.

Timothy Garton Ash is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and Professor of European Studies in the University of Oxford. He is an internationally acclaimed contemporary historian and author of ten books of political writing or ‘history of the present’ which have charted the transformation of Europe over the last half century. His essays appear regularly in the New York Review of Books and he writes a column on international affairs in the Guardian which is widely syndicated in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
